Our Mission

EcoTrek is a non-profit organization that conducts research and educational programs to advance the use of renewable fuels and materials.

EcoTrek’s programs include the following:

EcoTrek Video Series: EcoTrek produced the “Adventure Highway” television series for Outdoor Life Network (OLN) for four years.  Today, it is producing programs that highlight the use of viable renewable fuels and materials, and the preservation of natural resources.

EcoTrek Educational Tours: EcoTrek’s management team has produced dozens of promotional and education tours for over 25 years.  These have included semi-trailers, RVs, buses, mobile medical units, trucks and other vehicles customized to promote everything from cancer prevention to movie releases. EcoTrek’s vehicles set the highest standard of environmental consideration and are powered by renewable fuel and utilize renewable materials.

Auto Industry / SEMA Involvement: EcoTrek maintains a strong relationship with the auto industry through its involvement with various automotive manufacturers and SEMA (the Specialty Equipment Market Association).

  • EcoTrek designs award-winning custom “eco” vehicles that generate worldwide publicity,
  • EcoTrek helps auto manufacturers design, launch and promote “eco-considerate” vehicles,
  • EcoTrek founded the “Green Zone” at SEMA shows, which highlights “eco”cars and components,
  • For his work in the auto industry, EcoTrek Founder Tom Holm is called, “a champion for the Automotive Industry who is awakening mankind to alternatives in living and new methods to preserve our natural resources.” – General Motors.
Environmental Research, Rescue and Recovery: EcoTrek’s custom vehicles are used for environmental programs throughout North America.  From assisting in beach clean-up in the Gulf of Mexico to researching Polar Bear preservation in Manitoba, Canada, EcoTrek’s vehicles set the highest standards in helping to preserve natural resources and world heritage sites.
