EcoTrek’s “Best of America Tour” Fueled by POET™ Cellulosic Ethanol
Cellulosic Ethanol (“CE”) is the next generation of EPA-approved biofuels made in America from grasses, crop residues and waste materials diverted and potentially harvested from land-fills. In America, the production of CE could create tens of thousands of jobs, increase unsubsidized revenue to farmers and lower demand for foreign fuels. Use of CE could also help protect the environment and sensitive ecosystems. For these reasons, EcoTrek will continue testing CE in its vehicles.
EcoTrek will drive an American vehicle, fueled by C.E. and carrying American-made equipment to spectacular locations and events in the U.S.A. This All-American “road trip” will include numerous press conferences, webcasts, blogs, photo shoots and many additional publicity opportunities. Plus, actual environmental research will be conducted during this tour in order to produce print, broadcast and social media content that will highlight America, and some of the best products made here. EcoTrek’s “Best of America” Tour will begin in L.A. on the Santa Monica Pier (the start of historic Route 66) and include many of America’s largest media markets. It will include visits to American farms and factories, sporting events; schools; and, receptions in Washington, D.C. where political dignitaries and celebrities will view EcoTrek’s C.E. vehicles. EcoTrek’s “Best of America” Tour will be supported by an aggressive publicity campaign, as well as print, broadcast and social media programs.
