EcoTrek’s “Protect and Preserve America Tour”

The Secretary of the U.S. Navy announced that he is committed to reducing petroleum use by 50% in Navy and U.S. Marines vehicles. He further mandated that 40% of their energy consumption must come from alternative sources by the year 2020.

EcoTrek’s “Protect and Preserve America Tour” sponsored by Kia highlights steps being taken by the Navy, Marines and others to bolster America’s energy independence through renewable energy, preservation and “Made In America” programs.

This tour will visit 20 major events with as many as 500,000 visitors each day.

Tour displays will be set inside and around an impressive “eco friendly” exhibit trailer and will highlight successes by the Navy and tour partners at preserving cultural and environmental sites throughout America.
